No magic roads to recovery from stroke
"Wander path" by Susie Mallett, 9th October, 2011
I have just been alerted by Google to a site that has lots of information on stroke, recovery, rehabilitation, treatments, therapies and more.
There is even a mention of Conductive Education, concluding with:
“Once again showing that recovery from a stroke is extremely hard work, there are no magical shortcuts.”

Thanks for the shoutout, its difficult to break thru the medical clutter.
Dean
I am really enjoying going through the information you have on your blog.
When I have picked out a few that I have found particularly interesting, and perhaps helpful to my stroke clients here in Germany, I will do a second posting.
At the moment I am reading your posting number one:
http://oc1dean.blogspot.com/2010/08/what-my-doctor-should-have-told-me.html
I have mentioned here in my postings several times how I learn much more from the experiences of my clients and other stroke victims, either in written or verbally reported stories, than I do from any medical books.
I am learning a great deal from reading your blog.
Thank you.
Susie
